Luckily for Civilization 6 players, there is crossplay available between copies purchased from Steam and those purchased or gotten for free from the Epic Games Store. Can Steam players play with epic players Civ 6? This at least unites the PC platform to be able to fully face off against each other. Users on the Epic Games Store and Steam can play each other via a new feature added called Unified PC Play. Unfortunately, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI does not support cross-play between platforms. Cross-platform cloud saves are supported across all versions of the game except for PlayStation 4.
There is no cross-play multiplayer between platforms. Hit the + button and scroll down to Save Game. Unfortunately not, but you can just save the game and reload it when all are back. Ok, the tutorial certainly does not take 30 minutes, it’s more like a couple of hours. Click on it and you should see a Save Game option. To save your game, simply look for the small main menu button in the top right corner of the screen. If CIV 6 runs smoothly and no crashing occurs, the antivirus program is the culprit. Running antivirus programs in your computer can cause your game crashing, as your antivirus program may detect your game program as virus or something, and antivirus program will try to stop your game from running. (You can alter the frequency of these auto-saves in the Options screen ) To load an auto-save, bring up the Load Game screen, click on the “Auto-Save” button, then on the auto-saved game you want to play, and then click “Load Game ”. The program automatically saves the game every turn.
